Megan Duncan is working toward a master’s in journalism at the university after spending some time as a newspaper reporter.
During the past five years, she covered the education beat at the Butler (Pa.) Eagle. She also took general assignments weekly, specializing in breaking and continuing coverage news.
Before joining the Eagle, Duncan worked as a copy-editor and paginator at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, spent time with weeklies, and held a fellowship with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s editorial department.
She is a 2005 graduate of Point Park University and went to high school in Wattsburg, Pa.
